Bio

Romuald Grimbert-Barré

Romuald Grimbert-Barré is a French violinist of Guadeloupean origin, the fifth child in a family of musicians with whom he has regularly performed in concert since childhood.

Romuald has won several international competitions, including those in Qingdao, China (2014) and Oistrakh (2013) in Moscow. He is also a 2012 laureate of the Banque Populaire Foundation's "Société Générale Musical Sponsorship" and was named "Classical Revelation 2011" by ADAMI, which has led to invitations to prestigious festivals and venues such as La Folle Journée in Nantes, the Pablo Casals Festival, Radio France, Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, Roque d'Anthéron, Chorégies d'Orange, Yamaha Hall in Tokyo, Carnegie Hall in New York, and La Chaise-Dieu, among others.
